Hey everyone!
My last post was my #NOTD for how I did my nails for Christmas, so I figured I'd make a post about which polishes I tend to gravitate more towards this winter season!
From left to right: In the Cable-Car Pool Lane (San Fransisco Collection), Don't Pretzel My Buttons (Germany Collection), All I want For Christmas is OPI & My Favorite Ornament (both from the Mariah Carey 2013 Holiday Collection)
I love wearing all of these colors during the winter because they're stand out colors to me. While I have a ton of red polishes, this was stands out the most to me. The glitter polish is gorgeous as a full manicure, as well as an accent color so it's very versatile. The neutral tan polish is the PERFECT nude color to wear. And finally, the plum/berry color is outstanding and I always get compliments when I wear it (Fun Fact: I just gifted a bottle of this to my best friend's mom and she LOVED it!)
What colors are you guys wearing this winter? Let me know!
See ya!

#NOTD: Holiday Edition!
Hey everyone!
Whoa, two days in a row a new post has gone up?! Whoa!
Merry Christmas!!!! I hope you all have a great Christmas, if you celebrate! My family doesn't celebrate any holidays throughout the year, but I still do celebrate with my close friends & their families!
I just wanted to share with you a quick nail of the day, since I figured that I hadn't posted since the summer! I used two OPI colors to achieve this really sophisticated holiday nail that is really toned down from the usual reds and berry colors that most people use during this time of year! I used "Don't Pretzel My Buttons" (From the Germany Collection) on three of the fingers and "My Favorite Ornament" (From the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 Collection) as the accent nail colors! I really love the way that these two colors look together!
What colors are you all wearing? Let me know!!
See ya!

SWATCHES/REVIEW: Too Faced's Joy To The Girls Holiday 2013 Palette!
Hey everyone!!
Merry Christmas Eve!! I was out shopping for some last minute Christmas gifts a few days ago and I just couldn't resist picking something up for myself. I've been eying this palette for a while since I recently gifted the "A Few Of My Favorite Things" palette (Sephora holiday exclusive!) to my best friend who just graduated from college and moved back home! When I finally swatched it in store, I knew I had to buy it (Can be bought at Sephora or Ulta!) ! It's so darling and perfect for my trip during the holidays!
This is what the packaging looks like and I'm a really big fan of the silver polka dots all over the palette because it's really festive and pretty!
Once you open the palette (it's like a book), on the right hand side are three different tutorials for different occasions and I think that they look great & I can't wait to try them out! On the left is the eye shadows and a full sized LastGasm! I love the range of colors and finishes of the shadows and I feel that you can make any holiday look out this palette!

First Row: Cookie Dough, Cheers!, and Prancer (frost)
Second Row: Sugar Plum (chunky glitter), Mulberry, and Snow Angel (matte)
Third Row: Powdered Sugar (matte), Too-Too, and Yule Log (chunky glitter)
Fourth Row: Chestnut, Twinkle (frost), and Joy
Fifth Row: Spike the Punch, Chimney, and Coal (matte)
Overall, I really love this palette! I think that it'll be a fun palette to experiment with this holiday season and it's perfect for traveling since it's so small and compact! It's like the size of my Kindle Fire HDX, which is the perfect size! I'm so excited for this! Merry Christmas to myself!!
What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Let me know!!
See ya!

Probably time for an update...
Hey everyone!!
Wow, holy crap, I can't believe how long it's actually been since I posted on this blog. I was doing so well at having a schedule and actually posting stuff and then all of a sudden I just stopped. Looking back, I realized it's because of how busy I've gotten this semester since I didn't realize it when I made the commitment to blog 2-3 times a week!
To speed you guys up on my life (I didn't even go back to my old posts because I'm afraid of how much has ACTUALLY happened since then...) my fifth semester of college is officially over. I took my last final (cumulative final, that is) yesterday and it was so ridiculous. I can't believe professors are allowed to make you study 16 chapters for a 70 question exam. Anyways. Finals are over and I have so much time to just sit around my apartment and relax. There really isn't much going on since I live in a college town and most people have gone home for the holidays. (My family isn't big on holidays, so I figured I'd stay at school until we fly out to go visit family in Massachusetts!)
With all of that being said, I should be getting back on a regular posting regimen again, at least for a little while! I have a few posts that I want to do, but I just haven't gotten around to them, but I do have a list of quite a few ideas that I think you guys will really like!! So, stay tuned for those coming within the next few weeks!
See ya!
