Winter Nails!

Hey everyone!

My last post was my #NOTD for how I did my nails for Christmas, so I figured I'd make a post about which polishes I tend to gravitate more towards this winter season!

From left to right: In the Cable-Car Pool Lane (San Fransisco Collection), Don't Pretzel My Buttons (Germany Collection), All I want For Christmas is OPI & My Favorite Ornament (both from the Mariah Carey 2013 Holiday Collection)

I love wearing all of these colors during the winter because they're stand out colors to me. While I have a ton of red polishes, this was stands out the most to me. The glitter polish is gorgeous as a full manicure, as well as an accent color so it's very versatile. The neutral tan polish is the PERFECT nude color to wear. And finally, the plum/berry color is outstanding and I always get compliments when I wear it (Fun Fact: I just gifted a bottle of this to my best friend's mom and she LOVED it!)

What colors are you guys wearing this winter? Let me know!

See ya!

#NOTD: Holiday Edition!

Hey everyone!

Whoa, two days in a row a new post has gone up?! Whoa!

Merry Christmas!!!! I hope you all have a great Christmas, if you celebrate! My family doesn't celebrate any holidays throughout the year, but I still do celebrate with my close friends & their families!

I just wanted to share with you a quick nail of the day, since I figured that I hadn't posted since the summer! I used two OPI colors to achieve this really sophisticated holiday nail that is really toned down from the usual reds and berry colors that most people use during this time of year! I used "Don't Pretzel My Buttons" (From the Germany Collection) on three of the fingers and "My Favorite Ornament" (From the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 Collection) as the accent nail colors! I really love the way that these two colors look together!

What colors are you all wearing? Let me know!!

See ya!

SWATCHES/REVIEW: Too Faced's Joy To The Girls Holiday 2013 Palette!

Hey everyone!!

Merry Christmas Eve!! I was out shopping for some last minute Christmas gifts a few days ago and I just couldn't resist picking something up for myself. I've been eying this palette for a while since I recently gifted the "A Few Of My Favorite Things" palette (Sephora holiday exclusive!) to my best friend who just graduated from college and moved back home! When I finally swatched it in store, I knew I had to buy it (Can be bought at Sephora or Ulta!) ! It's so darling and perfect for my trip during the holidays!

This is what the packaging looks like and I'm a really big fan of the silver polka dots all over the palette because it's really festive and pretty!

Once you open the palette (it's like a book), on the right hand side are three different tutorials for different occasions and I think that they look great & I can't wait to try them out! On the left is the eye shadows and a full sized LastGasm! I love the range of colors and finishes of the shadows and I feel that you can make any holiday look out this palette!

First Row: Cookie Dough, Cheers!, and Prancer (frost)
Second Row: Sugar Plum (chunky glitter), Mulberry, and Snow Angel (matte)
Third Row: Powdered Sugar (matte), Too-Too, and Yule Log (chunky glitter)
Fourth Row: Chestnut, Twinkle (frost), and Joy
Fifth Row: Spike the Punch, Chimney, and Coal (matte)

Overall, I really love this palette! I think that it'll be a fun palette to experiment with this holiday season and it's perfect for traveling since it's so small and compact! It's like the size of my Kindle Fire HDX, which is the perfect size! I'm so excited for this! Merry Christmas to myself!!

What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Let me know!!

See ya!

Probably time for an update...

Hey everyone!!

Wow, holy crap, I can't believe how long it's actually been since I posted on this blog. I was doing so well at having a schedule and actually posting stuff and then all of a sudden I just stopped. Looking back, I realized it's because of how busy I've gotten this semester since I didn't realize it when I made the commitment to blog 2-3 times a week!

To speed you guys up on my life (I didn't even go back to my old posts because I'm afraid of how much has ACTUALLY happened since then...) my fifth semester of college is officially over. I took my last final (cumulative final, that is) yesterday and it was so ridiculous. I can't believe professors are allowed to make you study 16 chapters for a 70 question exam. Anyways. Finals are over and I have so much time to just sit around my apartment and relax. There really isn't much going on since I live in a college town and most people have gone home for the holidays. (My family isn't big on holidays, so I figured I'd stay at school until we fly out to go visit family in Massachusetts!)

With all of that being said, I should be getting back on a regular posting regimen again, at least for a little while! I have a few posts that I want to do, but I just haven't gotten around to them, but I do have a list of quite a few ideas that I think you guys will really like!! So, stay tuned for those coming within the next few weeks!

See ya!

Haul: Random Target!

Hey everyone!!

It's been a while since I've posted on this blog and I'm so sorry! I have been extremely exhausted from the new school year and from my other activities! I do keep going to target for random things and groceries since I'm officially living off campus in my own apartment! I just thought I'd share a quick snapshot of the things I got the last time I was at Target; it's really nothing exciting!

I guess I really needed bathroom stuff on this trip! nothing beauty related unless you count the shampoo/conditioner, but hopefully I'll have a review up as my next post or the post after that!

It's Bid Day for my business fraternity so it's going to be hectic the next couple of days to get ready for the pledging process for the new pledges!

How is your September looking?! Busy? Slow? Let me know!!

See ya!

I can't believe it!

Hey everyone!!

I can NOT believe that it's been more than two weeks since my last post! I am SO sorry about the lack of posting. I know I literally just talked about being on a schedule for posting, but I just moved back to school and my new schedule is really kicking my butt right now. I have so many classes right now and it's so overwhelming trying to balance blogging, school work, my job, AND friends. I promise I will try to be more on top of things from now on though!!

I'm just going to post a few pictures of a few things that I have bought recently!

John Mayer's new album is really, really great. I love his new sound, although I do miss the trio days and the sound from his earlier albums! The duet with Katy Perry is perfect though!

I went to Sephora and picked up the Benefit kit in "Sugarlicious" and I absolutely LOVE it! It comes with a mini High Beam, a mini Benetint, a mini Sugarbomb lipgloss, and a mini Sugarbomb blush! I also picked up a cute makeup bag, socks, and shoes from Forever 21! So cheap!

I have always gotten the small Lilly Pulitzer agendas, but this year since all of my books are etexts, I figured I could use the bigger one because it won't weigh my backpack down! I love these agendas because they're perfect for school, and they're 17 months long so it'll last me for 3 semesters! They retail for $28 on the Lilly Pulitzer website, or $32 on Amazon!

Well, that's it! What are some of your back to school essentials?!

See ya!

Update!

Hey everyone!!

So I know I was doing good on my schedule for posting, but I've been really busy the last week with my summer class ending and preparing to move back to school in less than a week! I've been trying to hang out with all of my friends before we all leave, so my computer has actually remained dead for the past three or four days so I couldn't make any new posts! No worries though, I should be back next week with some new posts, but it might have to wait until after I move back to school before I get into a good routine again! Thanks for understanding!!

See ya!

HAUL: Pacsun & China Glaze!

Hey everyone!!

I don't know about you guys, but there just seems to be so many great items out for the summer! I know my last beauty post was a haul, but I wanted to get this one up because I love every single item in this haul!

I went shopping with a close friend of mine the other day and we went to Pacsun to get some things for her boyfriend who has been gone for a while! While we were there, I noticed that some the girl's clothes was all BOGO Free! So, naturally, I browsed the racks and found a few things that I just needed in my closet!

And these are the shirts I ended up with for only $20! Such a great deal!

Well, then of course since I have a shopping problem, I also picked up three of the creme finish china glaze polishes (there are 6 of them total and 6 jelly finish ones as well!) from the summer collection! I couldn't resist them once I saw them in Kroger because I had been looking at Ulta practically every day for them, but my Ulta for some reason didn't have them! My favorite so far is definitely So Yacht to Handle (the teal shade) because I'm obsessed with the name!

I think that wraps up my small haul! I really prefer small hauls to big ones because it's so much easier to comment about the products!!

See ya!

Happy Saturday!

Hey everyone!

I feel like I need to continue to connect with you guys outside of my beauty & fashion posts. I know I do some rant posts about my personal life, but as a special post, I want to share with you a collage of some of my favorite pictures of me (that I can post without showing where I live or go to school!) and my family! I think that this is going to be a regular occurrence when I come across a picture that I love so much!

If you guys like posts like this, please let me know!
I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend! :)

HAUL: Sephora!

Hey everyone!!

I'm basically the last 20 year old girl to FINALLY buy something from Sephora. I have gone in the store several times but I never found anything within my price range that I really felt like I needed. Well, the other day while I was in the big city near me, I strolled into Sephora to see if I wanted to get anything. I browsed the Benefit section for a while but walked away with nothing. I browsed the Urban Decay, Stila, and Nars sections for a while, but, again, walked away with nothing. I made my way to the back of the store and decided to look at the Soap & Glory products since they're so hyped up on youtube by all of the beauty gurus.

Hold the phones. I actually picked a product up and was heading towards the check out with it. Shocking!!

On my way there, I also picked up two more things, 1 from the section where they keep their brushes and one from the bins in the check out line (that's how they get you! good marketing on their part!)

Here's what I got! (very few items, and small items at that.)

The first thing I actually picked up to buy is the Soap & Glory "Clean on Me" shower gel that everyone raves so much about on youtube. I got the trial size for $5, which is a little more than 3 fluid ounces. It's a little too big for traveling on an airplane, but I think I'm going to keep it for when I move into my new apartment in a little over 2 weeks from now! It'll be nice to have before I really start to unpack my bathroom!

While in the check out line, I was looking at all of the bins to see if there was anything I may want to pick up and try out. Well, I picked up the travel size bottle of the Philosophy Purity 1-step daily facial wash! It foams up really nicely and has a tolerable scent. A downside would be that for the 3 fluid ounce bottle, it was $10! The upside to that problem is that it doesn't take a lot to to clean your face thoroughly.

I picked up a manual exfoliating brush for the face because I've been wanting to get a Clarisonic Mia, but after reading some reviews that talked about how it wasn't especially great, I figured why not try a manual one first anyways, to see if I would even use it. It was $6, which is great compared to the $100+ for the Clarisonic Mia! I really enjoy using the brush with Purity face wash! I may have found my holy grail items for face exfoliating!!

Overall, I'm really happy with my purchases from my first shopping experience in Sephora! I love everything I got and I can't wait to go back! Even though people think it's not as great as Ulta, I believe that they're just different stores. Sephora has a lot of exclusives from different brands, like I saw some Benefit sample-like boxes that had a cheek/lip tint (benetint, cha cha tint) or a liquid highlighter (sun beam, high beam) and a blush/bronzer in them for $30, but they're Sephora exclusive packaging! So there's always that. I do love both stores though, but Ulta is more convient for me now that we have one in my hometown and that there is one in the town where I go to school!!

What are your favorite things to buy from Sephora?!

See ya!

What's in My Shower Routine?

Hey everyone!!

I know I haven't blogged in a while, but I've been super busy with my last summer class for the semester and hanging out with friends before I head back to school in about 21 days for the fall semester! I thought I would come back strong with a post about the products I'm currently using in my every shower routine!!

I'll start with what I use when I wash my hair, because that tends to be the first thing that I do when I'm in the shower!

Currently I have been LOVING the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition fortifying shampoo and the 3-minute undo dryness reversal treatment. It smells so great and it makes my hair feel soft and moisturized after I use it! However, since it is a fortifying shampoo, I don't use it every day because it's meant to be used as a way to clear out product buildup! When I'm not using the Garnier products, I use the Suave Moroccan Infusion shampoo & deep shine conditioning mask. They also have a very pleasant scent and make my hair feel great!

When I want a more luxurious feel from my body wash, I use either the Bath & Body Works "Cashmere Glow" because I absolutely love the scent of it (I use the triple body moisture cream in the same scent!!) or the Victoria's Secret "Pure Seduction" because the floral scents are dead on for feeling luxurious! I honestly only picked it up because of Elle, also known as AllthatGlitters21 on Youtube, raved about how much she loved the scent of it and it was an all time favorite for her! I completely agree!! For my more every day body wash, I gravitate towards the Olay 2 in 1 Essential Oils Ribbons in Sunflower and Nectarine! It lathers really nicely and it leaves my skin feeling completely soft. I use this on my legs when I'm shaving if I don't use a shave gel because I love how moisturizing it is on my legs!

When I wash my face in the shower, I try to keep it pretty classic and stick to a cult favorite, which would be Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit Scrub. It does the job and I think it makes my skin feel clean. I've lately been using the Olay Fresh Effects Shine, Shine GoAway! wash because of Ingrid, or MissGlamorazzi on YouTube. I have really shiny skin, but when I use this wash, it's not as shiny at the end of the day! Some of the items in my shower that I don't always use are pictured on the left, like the ever so popular Macadamia Deep Repair hair mask which I do love, a sugar body scrub in Mango from The Body Shop and a few other things like a feminine wash & my current shave gel.

I have found that all of these products have made for a nice and clean shower and I always feel like I smell so great too, because a few of the scents do linger on your skin for a portion of the day, which I really enjoy. I didn't take a picture of the razor I'm currently using, but it's the Venus Spa Breeze one, or whatever it's called; it's a razor and works so there's that.

I hope you all enjoyed this post!! I'm trying to catch up on my posting and get on a posting schedule, but I think I've finally figured out when I want to post. Probably like 2 times a week, a weekend date and a week day date! Let me know if that's a good idea or not, because I do these posts for the readers and I love to do them!

See ya!!

SPOTTED/HAUL: Wet N Wild MegaLast Polishes!

Hey everyone!

I was on twitter yesterday and saw that Leigh Ann, or leighannsays on Youtube, posted a picture about the Dollar General Wet N Wild exclusive polishes that she purchased! So, of course I had to go to my local DG because my summer course and check out the colors. So, naturally, I had to buy 11 of them. Because that's what nail polish addicts do.

Here's a picture of the small damage that I did earlier before my class!

I can work on doing swatches if that's something you guys are interested in, but I can't wait to use these polishes! They look so fun and I love the formulation of the MegaLast polishes!!

Let me know if you go out and get some! :)

See ya!

Every Day Eye Makeup Routine!

Hey everyone!!

I don't wear makeup every day, or every other day, it's sort of sporadic for me. If I'm going out with friends, I probably will, and if I'm at school and going to a meeting or something, I probably will. When I'm just going to my summer class, I won't because it's useless to spend the time doing it for 10 people to see. Since I don't do videos, I thought I'd just post pictures and talk about the products that I use when I decide to actually wear eye makeup!

Here we go!

This is an overview of some of the things in my every day makeup bag. It's one of the bags that I got when I was still subscribed to Ipsy a few months ago! (Ipsy is a monthly $10 subscription that comes in a makeup bag with 4-5 deluxe samples or full-size products tailored to your needs!) It's just plain navy blue on the outside with the lighter blue interior with the white stars. It's bigger than most of the other bags that have been sent since October, so it's perfect to hold everything I need!

So, not pictured is my eye primer, but I do use one before I start. I just forgot to take a picture of it. Then, if I'm going for a more dramatic metallic/shimmery eye, I'll start by applying either of these colors as a base for my shadows. These are some of the best cream eyeshadows that I have every tried! Sometimes I'll swipe some on my eyelids and call it a day. They're THAT pigmented and they don't crease on me! (Retail: $5.94 at Walmart & Target)

After I decide if I'm going to use the cream shadows or not, I move onto regular every day eye shadow. If I'm wearing eye shadow, I can almost guarantee that I have at least one of the colors from the highly-praised Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. It's so highly pigmented and creamy and natural that it makes for great every day use. I will also usually grab for my Wet n Wild "Walking on Eggshells" trio for the all over lid color. Or I will reach for my (not pictured) Stila "Not So Nude" palette, which you can check out here!! (Retail: Urban Decay Naked Basics- $27 at Ulta or Sephora, Wet n wild "Walking on Eggshells"- $2.93 at Walmart)

Next, I tend to line my waterline and my tightline with a white retractable liner from NYX, then I go over it with either the brown NYX liner or the Jordana black liner. It usually depends on which one I grab for first from inside of the bag. Lastly, I apply two coats of mascara! I do layer my mascara and when I do, I do one coat of the Benefit's They're Real! mascara and go over it with the Covergirl Clump Crusher in the waterproof formula! It makes for a great duo! Both of these mascaras are highly hyped, but I love them both! (Retail: NYX liners- $4.49 at Ulta, Jordana liner- priced per store/ around $1!, Clump Crusher- $6.94 at Walmart, Mini Benefit They're Real!- $10 at Ulta or Sephora)

and Wah-la! Finished eye makeup look! This is my go-to makeup products for every day use! What are some of your favorite go-to products for your eye looks? Let me know!!

See ya!

I Heart Summer Tag!

Hey everyone!!

Not unlike many other avid youtube viewers in the beauty community, among my favorite videos to watch are Tag videos! Ingrid, or MissGlamorazzi, came out with 12 questions for this tag all about summer! I thought I'd give it a go since I wasn't really blogging when she released the I Heart Spring Tag a few months back! So, here we go!!

1. Favorite bronzer for summer? NYC Sunny Bronzer! I'd love to try Benefit's Hoola or the Too Faced Chocolate Solei bronzer in Milk Chocolate!

2. You're relaxing in a hammock, on a tropical island. What are you sipping on? (Favorite summer drink) Living in the south, I'd probably say a nice, cold glass of sweet tea.

3. Favorite summer lip product? I'm not much for a lip product person, but I'd probably say anything with SPF that isn't the Maybelline Baby Lips because I really don't like those at all!

4. Pool or Beach? Being in a landlocked state, I'd have to say pool! It's more easily accessible. Although, nothing beats summer nights down on Nantucket in Massachusetts!

5. Summer = crazy hair! What's your must-have styling product? Sea-salt spray! I love the way it enhances my natural wave to make it look super beachy.

6. Sun bathing or fake tan? I don't fake tan or sun bath! I tan just from being active outside in the sun!

7. Favorite summer nail polish? Essie "Mint Candy Apple" is my absolute favorite summer polish!

8. Any summer traditions? Not so much anymore now that I'm in college.

9. Favorite summer scent? Bath & Body Works 2013 Summer candle, Summer Boardwalk.

10. Favorite BBQ food? Cheeseburgers!

11. What's your favorite summer-proof product? Neutrogena Sun Defense water-proof sunscreen! Or the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Lotion in the Blue/Green bottle!

12. Any summer vacation plans this year? No plans? Tell us about your dream summer trip! We took a family trip up to Massachusetts to visit family but now I'm taking summer classes and in a little over a month, I'll be moving into my first off-campus college apartment!!

I really did love this tag! And I hope to see more people do this tag, like EleventhGorgeous, Beautybaby44, StrawberryElectric48, AllthatGlitters21, and so many more!!

What are some of your summer must-haves?!

See ya!

HAUL: Drugstore!

Hey everyone!

So the other day I stopped by my local Walmart to restock on a few things and to try a few new things as well! I end up spending way too much money when I'm in Walmart because I always feel like everything is a deal! I love it though!

These are some repurchases and they're some of my holy grail items. I did see some Neutrogena blotting sheets that I thought of picking up, but it was a little more money than these and I know these ones work. This heat protectant is my absolute favorite! It has a a great scent and I feel like it really does work. I've repurchased this so many times!

I have been looking for some sort of scrub or facial wash to help with controlling shine and I saw Ingrid, or MissGlamorazzi, mention this Olay Fresh Effects Shine Control one, so I picked it up on my shopping trip. I picked up the Suave Morraccan Oil Shampoo and deep conditioner because I'm almost out of my Suave Keratin set. I don't remember who I saw talking about the Olay Sunflower body wash was, but I smelled it and it immediately went into my basket. It smells so good for the summer time.

I picked up a few polishes from Maybelline Color Show because I've been looking for a really good affordable light pink polish for summer and everyone is raving about white manicures lately. Also from Maybelline, I picked up a new Color Tattoo Pure Pigment in "Barely Brazen" and I can't wait to try it out. While in the travel items aisle, I picked up this Ponds Nourishing cream just to try it out. On a whim while walking out of the beauty aisles, I saw a display with lip balms on it and I saw these Yes To Carrot ones! There are four of them, but I only picked up two. I also picked up my holy grail Burt's Bees though. In the checkout, I saw the Blistex one and picked it up for a friend because it's her favorite.

Whew! Such a big, but small haul! I hope to enjoy everything that I bought!! What drugstore items are you loving?!

See ya!

Influenster: SunKissed VoxBox!

Hey Everyone!!

So I was given the opportunity through Influenster to try out some items in their SunKissed Voxbox! The way the website works is that you do interactive things on their websites like reviews of products and you're active in their community. Then, if you qualify for one of their boxes based on your activity on the website, they sent you a pre-survey and if you're picked, they send you a box with 4-5 products in it to review!! It's a really great website and I heard about it through LollyDolly128, or Danna, on YouTube!

Here is the card that comes in the box! It gives you retail value and more information about them!

I was so excited to receive this box for consideration! I love basically everything in it because it's all items that I have been hesitant to pick up on my own with fear of not enjoying the items! This box came with the Dr Scholl's for High Heels insert and I can't wait to try them out because I wear heels often for my fraternity and for my other organization so I'm excited to try them out. I've also heard great things about the hair ties! I wasn't very excited about the BB cream because it's meant for just a primer with a little bit of color. Lastly, I love the way gel nails look so I'm excited to have gotten to try out this gorgeous pink color in the new GelTech shine formula from Sinful colors!

Thanks so much, Influenster for the opportunity to try out everything in this box!

Do you guys see anything you'd want to try from this box? Let me know!

See ya!

SPOTTED: Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments!

Hey everyone!

I was at Walmart getting a few things I ran out of from in my bathroom! I always stop in the beauty aisles to see if there are anything new, or if there are any markdowns! Here's what I saw!

These are the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigments! I picked up the shade "Barely Brazen" which I think the pigment color for the Color Tattoo in "Barely Branded" from the Metals line! They retail for a little under $6! This is the first place I have seen them, so I don't know if they have them anywhere else!

Are you going to buy any?! Let me know!!

See ya!

JenniferRants #1

Hey Everyone!!

So, I know this isn't beauty related and this weekend I am going to try to have TWO posts up! I know for sure my SunKissed VoxBox Review will be up, I'm just waiting to have some down time to take the pictures for it! and I know I'm super super super late on it, but my June Ipsy Bag will be up sometime this weekend too!!

But I wanted to do this thing where I just rant for a second about my personal life. If you're uninterested, or if this is something you don't want to see, let me know! I won't do them anymore! I just wanted a way as to include you all in my every day life because you mean so much to me!

Well, first off, I should be studying for my summer class final, but I'm typing this blog instead. There's nothing worse that I hate than taking exams because I have extreme test anxiety and it's really hard to control normally, so during finals, I just go a little crazy. Brownies for breakfast it is!

Secondly, I hate when anyone who posts NOTDs has ratchet nails. I try really hard to clean them up before I post pictures of my nails if I'm going to be doing a NOTD, but I have seen pictures where the girl hasn't cleaned them up at all and they look so bad. If you're trying to be a beauty guru/blogger, you need to try harder when it comes to simple posts like nails!

Okay, whew! I'm done with that rant for now! I just needed a place to vent!
How are you guys doing?! Leave a comment down below & we can chat!! :)

See ya!

NOTD: OPI's "I've Got The Blues For Red"

Hey everyone!!

I thought I would post this NOTD because I'm no good at nail art and I felt like the only reason I painted my nails a dark red in the middle of summer is because of the name! It made me think of how this week is the Fourth of July!

It's the perfect deep red color to me! it was pretty opaque with the first coat, but I did go ahead and apply a second coat!

Any big 4th of July plans? I'll be studying my butt off for my accounting class final on the 5th, but maybe I'll give myself a break for fireworks!! ;)

NOTD: Wet n Wild's "On A Trip!"

hey everyone!

yesterday while I was neglecting my homework for my summer classes, I painted my nails! I'm in love with this color and it's one of my top favorites! the formulation is great & it dries very quickly! Wet n Wild is such a great company! I'd recommend this to anyone, in any of the shades!!

What is your favorite nail colors to wear? Let me know!!

Thirsty Thursday!

Hey everyone!!

Disclaimer: This post has nothing to do with alcoholic drinks, but it does have to do with a cold one! It's the new Valencia Orange Refresher from Starbucks that just recently got released! Between today and the 29th, refreshers are half off during the hours of 3 & 5 at your local Starbucks! My mom sent me on a trip to get her some iced coffee, so I took the liberty of trying one while I was there!

Pulled from my Instagram!
At first, this drink had an interesting flavor to me. I didn't really like it, but as the ice started to melt into the liquid, it definitely got a lot better! It has a sort of spicy feeling to it, while it doesn't have actually have any spiciness in it! I do enjoy it, but I probably won't be repurchasing this any time soon! I love my Venti Caramel Iced Coffee with Cream and Extra Classic far too much to switch to something I don't really like a whole lot!

I just wanted to share this post with you and to let you know about the deal going on at Starbucks! I love every time they have drinks on sale because they are overpriced for their specialty drinks, but it's a culture thing so we keep buying it!

Have any of you tried this drink? What's your favorite drink at Starbucks?!

See ya!

HAUL: Ulta!

Hey everyone!!

So, about a week ago I went to Ulta and picked up a few things that I have been eying for a while!

Pictured is a few dry shampoos from Batiste in the scents "Cherry" and "Blush." I have heard about this brand of dry shampoo from so many Youtube beauty gurus so I decided to finally pick it up, and it was BOGO 50! Also shown is a travel size of the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun lotion that Ingrid, or MissGlamorazzi on Youtube, has raved about and I wanted to try it now that it's summer time and I've been in the pool most days!

Lastly is a Stila palette that I randomly stumbled upon! I originally was looking for Stila's "Kitten" eyeshadow, but then I found this palette! It was $20 and has Kitten in it, along with 6 other shadow colors and a convertible lip/cheek color! It was a killer deal and I couldn't pass it up! I'm excited to try it out because I have never tried a Stila product before!

Have you guys picked up any new beauty products? Anything I need to try? Let me know!!

See ya!

Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale!

Hey everyone!!

Yesterday was kind of a big shopping day for me because I got a few things from two stores, which is unusual for me! This post is going to be about what I got from Bath and Body Works from their Semi-Annual sale!

I originally went in looking for Market Peach candles, but they told me that in store they weren't half off, but online they were. So I got a big candle for $11 in the scent Ice Cream Shoppe. It smells delightful and I can't wait to burn it in my apartment. I also got a few items in the White Tea and Ginger scent for a friend because she's been busy all week and they were running low on it at the store. I found their wallflower buckets and was hoping for the Market Peach (can you tell that's my favorite scent yet?!) duo packs, but they didn't have them. Instead I got Winter Candy Apple and Peach Bellini, which both of these I have used in soap form.

As I was making my final round around the store, I spotted the $10 candles up in a front display, and they were all 50% off! I snatched up two Market Peach ones and I knew my shopping trip was a success! At the end of the trip, I managed to have a savings of $66 off of the original prices. Such a great trip!

Here's a picture for ya, minus the big candle I got! Oh and  I forgot to mention the Country Apple shower gel that I got for $3!

Did you guys hit the mall or your local Bath and Body Works up? Or a sister company of their's, Victoria Secret? Let me know! I'd love to hear what scents I need to try out from B&BW next time I go in!!

See ya!

Summer Nail Polishes!

Hey everyone!!

So, I have a slight addiction to buying nail polishes. I own so many that it's nearly impossible for me to wear them all before I end up buying newer ones. It's a problem, but I've finally narrowed down some of my absolute favorite polishes that are PERFECT for the summertime because they all look so great with a tan! I'm sure I'll end up with more summer favorites, but these are the ones I've been gravitating towards for the last month or so since I've been home from school & while on my vacation!!

From left to right: Essie "Ladylike"; Essie "Mint Candy Apple"; Essie "First Timer"; Sally Hansen "Pacific Blue"; Sally Hansen "Coral Reef"; and Zoya "Neely"!

So these are the colors I'm probably going to be wearing for most this summer (I actually have Mint Candy Apple on my nails right now!! :]) What are some of your favorite polishes for summer?! I'm hoping to acquire China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy soon!!

May Ipsy Bag 2013!

Hey everyone!

So, I know I'm really late on getting this post up, but I was traveling for basically all of May and then I started my two summer classes this week and they've taken up a lot of my time with reading and studying, so I haven't had time to even OPEN my package until a few minutes ago.

So let's just get started!!

Here is everything that came in the bag! The theme for the month was Spring Fling, which was super cute, but not really appropriate anymore since it is almost summer now. This month was one of the first month's that a lot of the products in the bag were personalized based on what you answered in the quiz from when you first signed up!

This is a very sheer lipstick from Mirabella in the shade Posy! I'm not sure if there were other colors available for this product, but it swatted into a gorgeous magenta-pink. I don't normally wear lip products, so I'm not sure why I was sent this product over a hair product, but I guess I'll try to find a way to use this!

Next was a travel-sized concealer from Yaby in "honey." I swatched this on my hand since I haven't used it properly yet, and it blended really nicely and actually matched my skin tone on my hand. It looks really yellow in the picture, but I have light to medium skin with a yellow undertone from being Asian. So hopefully this will be a great concealer!

Next was a full-sized Zoya nail polish in the shade "Neely" which is a gorgeous almost mint green. It's a really perfect color for when you're skin starts to get tan because it's super bright. This is my first Zoya nail polish and I can't wait to try it because I've heard some great things about this brand!!

There were two other things that I just didn't take close up pictures of and they were a Pacifica roll-on perfume in Island Vanilla, which smelled like straight up bourbon and I am not a big fan of that smell, and a sample size of St. Tropez's one night tan lotion, which I'm excited to try out!

Well, before you know it, it'll be time for the June Ipsy bag, which, cross your fingers!, will be up in a timely matter! And don't worry, I have a few blog posts in the works right now for the near future! Thanks for sticking with me!!

Do you guys like subscription boxes? I love them!

See ya!
