Empties/Cleaning #1!

Hey Everyone!!

So, I'm basically obsessed with empties videos on youtube and I seriously constantly watch them when I have some down time! The other day I decided I need to clean out my makeup/nail polish collection that I have with me at school because I'm going home for spring break in a few days and then only have a little over a month left in school here before summer! So here are some pictures from this excursion! Also, I'll be doing a mini review for each product mentioned as well!!

Empties/Reviews/Products I hit pan on/Products I Regret Buying #1!

This is just an overview of everything before I got started. As you can tell, I just keep my nail polish in a box because I don't have a rack or anything! And the overflowing container is full of makeup products and such that I usually keep next to my sink in my little bathroom area!

Out of all of the polishes I have with me at school, these are the ones I'm for sure keeping! Whether I bring them home or not with me this time or the next is a different story! My favorite polish at the moment is the last Essie polish on the right and it's called "Ladylike" and it's gorgeous on the nails. It's a light purple/grey nude color!

These are polishes that I'm either going to throw away or give away to some friends. I'm really upset that most of them are Julep polishes because those are expensive! But I got most of these in Mystery Boxes anyways so I don't feel as bad, but they still retail for $14 online or at Sephora! Also, I'm doing away with all of my Babylips products! If you've read my previous review here, then you know that I'm not really a fan. I'm probably just going to toss them!

• These are the current mascaras that I have that I could find in my apartment! From left to right: Maybelline Great Lash, Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion, Maybelline The Rocket, Pop Beauty, Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express, and theBalm What's Your Type BodyBuilder Mascara. 
• I really enjoy laying The Rocket with Great Lash but I don't think I'll be repurchasing Lash Blast because it acts a lot like The Rocket in my opinion. B+!
• Pop Beauty came dried up in an Ipsy/MyGlam bag so I didn't even get to try it out, but I've read a lot of reviews that have said they don't enjoy them so I don't think I'm missing out. F!
• The Colossal Volume Express did nothing for my lashes and I will not be repurchasing. I think I only bought it because it was on sale at Walmart! REGRET! D!
• And lastly, What's Your Type BodyBuilder is by far my favorite higher end mascara that I have ever tried! The one I had was just a mini sample of it that came in a MyGlam bag back in November and I absolutely fell in love with it. If it weren't so expensive, I would pick up another one in a heartbeat! Absolutely can not rave enough about what it did for my lashes!! A+!

• A lot of this is going to be products I regret buying/hit pan on!
• ELF tinted moisturizer - This was completely the wrong shade for me skin tone! I assumed that it would work and I was wrong. I'm just glad I didn't spend a lot on it! $1, wherever they sell ELF products (Target, etc).
• Maybelline Instant Age Review Concealer in Neutral- It was completely the wrong shade for me as well. I worked with it but it was difficult. I didn't enjoy it. 
• Covergirl Concealer stick- I just think I have an issue with shades because this one was also way too light for my skin tone. However, I have dry skin where I would need to use this concealer so it would basically become patchy and I didn't like that either.
• Pixi Flawless & Poreless- I got this in an Ipsy bag and I just didn't like the way it smells.
• Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play travel bottle- BEST HAIRSPRAY I HAVE EVER USE! It kept my hair in place and it held a curl very well. I would repurchase this except the price is hefty. It retails for around $18 at places like Walmart, Target, Ulta, etc etc.
• And finally, three things that I have hit pan on would be the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 001 Translucent which is a beauty guru cult favorite. Another cult favorite among the beauty gurus all over is the Wet n Wild color icon blushes and I recently hit pan on my Mellow Wine one. Lastly, my ELF clarifying pressed powder in Light Beige, but I'm not with this one because it didn't match my skin tone to begin with..

These are a bunch of products I'm just getting rid of because I didn't like them. First, the ELF shimmering eyeliner pencil in Precious Pink. It didn't have a great payoff, but it's only a $1! I think I bought it to reach my free shipping minimum. Next few are: Jordana black eyeliner pencil, Covergirl Point Perfect Plus, ELF liquid liner, and ELF dual ended mascara with regular and waterproof formulations. Then, four eyeshadow products: ELF glitter thingy, Nyx loose powder, Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eyestudio in Tough as Taupe, and a palette that I got two years ago that I was obsessed with until I tried higher end shadows like Urban Decay. and Lastly, two lip products: Bareminerals gloss in Daredevil and an NYC shiny gloss in Nude York City. All of these will either be given to friends or thrown away! All products I regret buying!

And my last little bit that I took pictures of are some makeup remover wipes that I have used up! I really enjoyed the purple packaged makeup remover wipes from Up & Up (Target) but I only used up the Exfoliating cucumber cleansing towelettes because I bought them and needed to! I would repurchase the purple ones those! Speaking of, I do need to go out and buy some new wipes now because I am almost out of my Neutrogena wipes!

WOW! Such a long post! I can't wait until I have enough products (Which probably won't be for a while) to do another one of these posts because this was super interesting for me to look back at things that I have bought and used and loved/hated!
