I really enjoy subscription boxes. I think they're fun and really interesting to get! I'm one of the only people I know who gets one and I really think it makes it that much more fun. Especially if they notice something if I'm wearing it or using it and they're like "Oh! Where'd that come from?!" and I get the chance to tell them!
Well, I recently was turned on to Influenster! While it's still a box full of goodies, it's not one that you pay for at all. They send it to you if they feel that you have done enough things on their website. You may or may not get picked for a certain box, but it all depends on how much you do on their website- like, tweeting about them, filling out surveys, etc etc.
I guess I did enough to be sent a Holiday VoxBox! It came last night and I'm just now getting around to really looking at it. There aren't any pictures, just because I'm lazy. But I will describe everything to the best of my ability!
First: It came with a $25 off coupon for Sole Society on a pair of shoes! Nifty!
Second: It came with a cup of Quakers oatmeal. I got the flavor Cherry Pistachio!
Third: It came with an Eboost packet in the flavor Pink Lemonade.
Fourth: It came with a package of Kiss Nail Dress. Mine was in the pattern Princess.
Fifth: It came with an NYC Liquid Lipshine in the shade 582 Nude York City.
and Lastly: It came with a Goody Quikstyle microfiber bristle brush!
If I had to guess, I'd say this box costs close to $15-$20 total. I'm most excited about the brush because it seems so interesting! I may try the Eboost packet, but I am going to be gifting the lipshine and the nail dress. Neither of them were really colors that would flatter me at all.
Overall, I'd give the box a 2/5, because I do think it did better than nothing, but it wasn't a perfect box. I think my major problem with this box is that it was called the Holiday box, but there was nothing about the holidays in it. I feel like it would have scored higher with me if it lived up to it's name. But I can't wait to see if I ever get another box! Let me know if you do Influenster too!
